thing ten thousand times over
and yet always gave us—if we’d
but look—the same radiant picture
of the one true source (as far as
we can see, anyway), the one true
sun, reflected, refracted, reticulated in-
to stones and waters and plants and


my goodness yes even wee us.
What’s to do but dance and
when crying’s finished dance a-
gain in this great light to which we’re
indivisibly wed both now and
evermore.
