Our rather mysterious, reclusive artist, Jean-Marie Putnam Jonré, has re-appeared in our mailbox., with seven new paintings.

You can read the odd story about how she chose us as her on-line gallery--indeed, apparently as her only public outlet in Issue No. 50.

Then only five months ago her Sept petits objets de méditation turned up. Though knowing nothing more about the artist than you can read in the link above, we are flattered, indeed honored, that she has continued to send along digital photographs of her large paintings, the latest group of which she calls "Lamentations."

At the artist's request we have added a midi to each painting, taken from Handel's Aylesford Pieces.
