Though other Renaissance painters (Caravaggio, for one) did naked
Jesuses,
their work has not made it to the Internet, alas.
So we have a gap of 400 years,
and then here comes the mad German artist, Lovis Corinth,
trying his hand in 1906.
You'll notice Jesus is not mentioned in the title of the picture,
so it could be just any old crucifixion.
Still, considering the dearth of art in this sub-sub-sub-genre,
we're including it here for your rapt consideration:
