Nine Interpretations of the Yin-Yang

Take one oh-so-simple but in reality highly ambiguous image, the yin-yang. Add one artist, Joe Ancaster, who comfortably wanders the centuries ("World War I, with its grainy black and white pictures, to me seems like yesterday," he says). Result: a gallery of unsettling, provocative images.
