Part 5: Gnu Miscellany

Gnut.
Legendary dwarf species, popular in witches’ brews.

Gnusprint.
What a gnu leaves behind when it steps in mud.

Famous Gnu Expressions Explained:
"Gnu wine for old": humorous expression used by gnu doctors when empyting the bottle and handing it over for a urine sample.

"There's nothing gnu under the sun." What a gnu says when isolated in the company of humans.

"To turn over a gnu leaf." A mild obscenity, meaning to look beneath the palm frond a modest gnu uses to cover his/her privates.

"There’s a gnu day coming!" Cliché used by gnu politicians to lure voters to their side.

The Gnu York Times. The primary organ for the dissemination of gnu culture and liberal political commentary. Famous for containing "All the gnus that's fit to print." Note the grammatical error. The slogan should read, "All the gnus that ARE fit to print." Nice to know that this bastion of propriety and correctness does make the occasional mistake.

Gnusreel.

Gnutron.
Sub-microscopic gnu, about which little is known.

Gnutron bomb.
